Hia
Might have asked this question before
Just doing my ironing and had a thought
So here it comes
I have as stutus Ariel in the van and I push the pole up to higher the Ariel and pull it down to lower it Also I can twist the pole round There is a red sticker spot on the pole and that tells me the Ariel point is pointing towards the front of the van
Ok
On the end of the pole there is a little stick thing that you twirl round to make the Ariel tilt , stand up or whatever
Now my question is this
When packing up to go home is there any easy way to tell me the Ariel is lying flat?
Without me having to keep going outside and checking
The pole etc is in my wardrobe

I can see mine through the rooflight without having to go outside but if I wasn't so tall I wouldn't be able to.

On mine it will carry on winding but with a little more resistance, if you pull one of these apart they do have plastic gears to change direction of the winder drive but work on friction to tilt, very Mickey Mouse set-up. Cal

Polly figure out which way makes it down eg Clockwise makes it down so anti clock wise makes it on its side. Or vise versa Put aerial as high as it can go and choose a direction Say clockwise then turn till you have to stop and then go outside and see if flat or on its side. You then know which is which

Polly as the way the Aerial is then turn to your left is clockwise and right anti-clockwise
Does that make it easier?
Lol
