Weekend at kingshead Park Newport

Added a few photos taken with my phone - forgot to take my camera.
Weather wasn't the best so had to shelter in the pub! but the sun came out on the day we were coming home   
Was nice to meet up with Cal and Maralyn and had a good weekend.
PS Maralyn, you won't make a weather forecaster, sun still shining

Very similar to Marbury Park   

Yeah, the camping field is, this is a very well kept site and the buildings were really nice and well maintained (chalets, statics whatever you call them)

I forgot to ask, but for some reason I doubt they will allow them, there is a lot of elderly folk live on the park, says they have 9 pitches on their website but could fit 30 on, no children allowed

There called Park Homes Ken, I only know cos I used to live in one. and if you were wondering, yes, I refurbished that as well.

Well I have been sorting through pictures all evening, just went to make a post only to find Ken beat me to it.
Very nice weekend in a very well kept park with good company, rain shelter just five minutes walk away, 2 minutes if your thirsty.
I see Ken has posted almost the same pictures (only better) I took so I won't repeat them.
Suffice to say I enjoyed the weekend and the good company, nice place for a rally but I doubt they would go for it as the near neighbours are elderly and on drugs (simvastatin, ramapril, doxazosin etc. the hard stuff so don't mess with them).

Suits me Cal, got all them drugs so will fit in well, you never know until you ask (Ken)
