Sorry, not relevant to your post, but might be of general interest to someone.

I was there on the first w/end of this season 11th March and, because the weather was excellent (shorts on!)stayed over on the Monday.

They have re-vamped the main toilet blocks at the complex entrance....very nice too. Not many punters either.

A lot of movement has been caused by the high winds shifting sand at the dune ends of the site. It looks like JCB's have been used to shovel it all back in a pile again!

Cheers......

We were talking about this at the weekend, they got vandalized on the 1st weekend, this is from their Facebook page

First weekend opening and absolutely disgusted already. Some kind man/boy has already decided it would be fun to rip sensors out of the mens showers ceiling and kick doors in on the showers and toilets. We have all worked so hard and sometimes wonder why. Apart from the above thank you all to everybody that came and left amazing comments

That is so sad.....
It must have happened on Sunday afternoon, because I was in the Gents on Sunday morning after collecting some milk and all was fine and very smart.

What is worse, when I went to reception on the Sunday morning and booked an extra night, the lady behind the desk asked what I thought of the 'New Toilets'. I said I approved......Obviously the damage wasn't done or noticed until the afternoon / evening.

Yet again, because of the actions of a few, it spoils it for the vast majority of decent campers.

Just what goes on in the heads of these people?

The owners have every right to be pee'd off!

Haven site near Grange over Sands, Sat-Tues expensivly cheap and cheerful ( £3 for a small cornet Shocked and nearly £4 for a pint , but compared to the ice cream that was cheap. Glad my garage was well stocked Laughing ).
