| According to the site the caravan park gate is locked at 21.00hrs until 07.00hrs but there is a way in through the exit gate as that is not locked  If you are going to be late please go to reception at the hotel and inform them of your arrival and they will give you directions. | |

| For those that don't know directly behind the site they have quite a large market on Sunday's, you would have a short walk up the road turning right out of the site and enter the market via the race track bottom car park, they did charge 50p to go in the last time I went | |

| The Threshing Barn is entirely original, except for its doors. Those at the front have been shortened, and the rear doors have been replaced with an alcove. In the 18 th century it was used as a place to preach to the local farm workers by John Wesley, who, with his brother Charles, was sponsored by Lady Selena Hastings.
