We've always had one Polly just missed one on offer in Lidl or Aldi but got a new one from B&M £9.99. Yes they have dates/year on we only buy a small one. We will check date on old one but keep it as back up in secondary place.

Polly, I would have both types, don’t forget a blanket is only for a pan fire. I think our fire extinguisher is powder and it’s the next size up from the small one. We keep it by the door so you can grab it on your way out.

Polly, the advice from the fire brigade in the event of a fire is, get out, and the reason for having a fire extinguisher, is to help you to make a safe exit from the vehicle. A burnt out vehicle is bad news, but injury, or worse, from a fire is devastating. Stay safe.
