| Frank mentioned a recipe for a home made Bailey's whilst we were at lady Heyes. I'm sure he will be along soon and post his recipe, but this is the one that we use, and is very easy to make. I have another somewhere that uses cream as well but no eggs, from memory (which isn't that good!), that one doesn't last as long as this one
400g of condensed milk 225ml of Irish whiskey 2 teaspoons of camp coffee (the liquid coffee and chicory drink - apparently the chicory flavour is very important to bring out the coffee taste) 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence 2 large or 3 medium eggs
Method. Beat the eggs thoroughly and add the whiskey. Mix well and stir in the vanilla essence and camp coffee, Add condensed milk and mix well. _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| very good,i would make a mug of coffee{very stong}let it go cold.and add 500ml of brandy. .serve with lots of ice. i have made this lots of times, and its far better than baileys.drink it within 4 days,as no preservatives are added.enjoy. | |

| Is this the same recipe you use but instead of camp coffee you use ordinary coffee? _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| We've kept it longer than 4 days, keep it in the fridge, I tried it once with brandy and it curdled, think it was the other recipe though, might try it with this one as I prefer brandy to whiskey _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

Brandy Alexander 2x parts Brandy 1x part Tia Maria or creme de cacao 1x part cream (Double is best).
Shake together with ice preferably with coctail shaker, pour into glass, optional grated nutmeg. serve.
