We’re coming up to May Day and that means you’ll probably be wanting to get away in your motorhome for a relaxing break. Sadly, it’s also the single biggest weekend for motorhome break-insShield Insurance says a staggering 34% of all insurance claims resulting from UK motorhome break-ins and thefts are over the May Day weekend.
The insurance company is also warning that tech-savvy criminals are using Google Earth to scout locations of motorhomes parked on driveways, meaning it’s becoming ever more important to ensure your motorhome is secure when it is stored and that all valuables are removed or at least stored out of view.
