italian road trip

my wife Barbara  said she would like to go on a road trip in October instead of a cruise......bham to sorrentto then sicily boat from Palermo to genoa pisa then up to monacco heading back millau bridge Epernay back home.from 27/9/13 to19/10/13.any advice on this trip ie best deals for ferrys and campsites cheers friends  oh happy fathers day to all dads.
