10 weeks away

in discussion with the gaffer(wife)about doing a 10 week trip and taking the dog with us (the mother in law )only kidding uve got to laugh  shes never been to Portugal or Norway so thinking of doing that in 10 weeks any ideas friends best way to start this trip

At home! ...only kidding Hugh.

Get in the motorhome and go and fill with fuel  (only joking as well)

That's some trip Hugh about 5300 miles + return from Nordkapp 4000 miles so a 10,000 mile round trip, very ambitious @ 1000 mile a week for 10 weeks.

If you mean going to Portugal then a trip down the west coast of France through Irun and the along the north coast of Spain then down the Portugese coast to Faro would be a good trip for 10 weeks returning through Spain or the centre of Portugal using Baragems as stopovers then central France back to the UK.

10 weeks in Norway would be great as you could cover loads of places right up to the Nordkapp returning through Finland or Sweden bearing in mind the Nordic countries are very expensive for food and booze but "camping savage" is tolerated if permission is obtained , fuel in Norway is cheaper from Friday night to Sunday night

I was thinking getting dingy from Harwich to esbjerg then doing Norway then work my way down to portugal
then getting ferry from bilbao to pompy that's the jist

Sorry guys to drive  that far 10, 000 miles in ten weeks that sounds like horror story to me a holiday is sun sangria s.x not drive drive drive:R0fl: thats if ya can find some one that wont, s.x
