Only kidding folks, that car is well out of out price bracket (£50000) we actually got a A160 CDI Blue Efiecency 5 door diesel and WE do love this one.

Can't wait to have a go, but Bob is still playing with it.

Well you know us men love to play with our prize possessions 

He is forgiven now, he took me to see our son this afternoon the car runs like a dream, & the chauffeur was ok too.lol

We where very upset when we lifted the bonnet of Barbs new car and saw the state of the engine compartment, we returned immediately to the garage to complain and were told they do not power wash engines anymore due to water ingress in the electrics (which I fully understand) but bring it back and they will clean it up.

Well I have done it myself without a drop of water and took the pictures below and sent them to the MD of the garage and he said he will give me a voucher for £25 for fuel for the effort and they will now look into their policy of not cleaning engines before customer collection.

looks very nice,good job,i think you should go to your local job centre,i am pretty sure they will find you a job.even if its only part time.think of all the enjoyment you would get.

Frank, no chance it will interfere with my M/hing and anyway my back was broke in two after doing that.

Baza, would love to do your collection but I am very busy for the next 4 years 

We took Barbs car back to the Merc garage today to let them fix a couple of small problems that we encountered after we bought it and they did her proud and fixed them all beautifully even the couple of small dents in a rear panel, so Barb is well chuffed now.

What surprised us both is the courtesy car they loaned us was brand new (1000 miles) the fastest, most expensive car I have ever driven but it was also one of the most uncomfortable ones as well and it cost in the showroom £39900 so pleased to get our lovely A160 back with its big wide seats, great vision and sedate drive.

The seats in that thing were not designed for the shape of Barb n mine bodies, they are too close to the road and getting in/out was so funny, then all them ruddy dials that took all your attention when driving, 30yrs ago i would have loved it, @ 69yrs its not for me but it was a fantastic few hours.

Hopefully you will have many years of joy from it.

Baza we went through Blackpool waving at the holiday makers walking in the rain and waving at them like the Queen n Phillip it was so funny to most of them, but a few waved backed using only two fingers  

It was amazing on the M6 (very whoosh) going back to the dealers but I much prefer the slow sedate way Buffy drives so much more relaxing, even in the mountains of France.
