| I'm the first guinea pig tester of a device to control a Truma 6002 by bluetooth.infra red remote.or SMS titled a MRC unit (motorhome remote control) by the inventor/manufacturer Mirko Ugolini (Italy) The device will text me if my strikeback alarm is triggered or my water dump valve has opened. I can turn the heating on from home before going to pick the van up on those winter trips I can adjust the heating more accurately as the adjustment is in 60 increments rather than the original 0 to 9n dial I can adjust the heating while in bed if it gets too hot or too cold I can set individual temperatures for each hour of the 24 hr clock It wont bring me tea in bed but it does nearly everything else. it's on its way to me now so stay tuned if this interests you and your 6002 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| It's not up and running fully yet as my android phone is old hardware and I can only sort it with Mirko when I'm in the van which is not until Boxing Day onwards now | |

| Do you have to keep the gas turned on all the time Andy? I quite fancy this system as despite having Helga for 3 years now, we still argue over the heating/water as it never does what we expect it to do! We have a similar system to this at home with our central heating - I have an App on my phone so I can control the house temperature remotely - its brilliant, especially if you cut your stay away short due to bad weather | |
