First visit to Carcasonne

We`ve just found a Macdonalds for a Mc Flurry to cool down and free WiFi !!
Carcasonne is very impessive and easy van parking in the Aire almost next to the old city. Anyone else down here?

We will be there in three weeks, showing our Daughter the sights
If you want to cool down and fancy a swim or paddle, you could do a lot worse than go to Homps.
It is just south of Carcasonne and on the Canal du Midi.
There is a tolerated aire alongside the canal basin and a lossier style lake within 10 minutes walking time or 5 minutes drive away.

Well. next Saturday, we go, and we will be collecting daughter, on her broom stick from Carcassonne airport.
With her, we will be visiting St Antonin Nobel Val, Cordes s Ceil, Le Segala (midi canal), Homps, also midi canal, then onto Port Gruissan, La Grasse and a few more.
Then after we drop her of at the airport, to jump on her broom, we will move over to Avignon, Orange, then Switzerland and Germany.
That is plan A, maybe plan Z will come into effect

Well, getting ready now, yesterday I gave the whole van, including the roof, a good clean.
Today, I polished it with help from Kath.
Looking good and should help get the dead flies and road grime off easier.
Water tank full and loaded ready to go.
Even put in a few bottles of wine to keep me going
