| A lot better today, had a bad do yesterday, that bad she thought she was dying, had me worried too, I was up there till after 2am, keeping her in for more tests. I just heard toady that a friend of mines hubby thought he had a tummy bug and over time became delirious and he was admitted to hospital where he was diagnosed with pneumonia gave him anti biotics and now he is home recovering slowly told could be at least 6 weeks
So tell Adele do as she is told and take it easy if she wants a visitor let me know | |

| Sorry, ddint get chance to post yesterday. Since my last post - They were giving her some magnesium, that then went too high and resulted in low blood pressure and they had to give her something else to reduce the magnesium levels, all seems stable now. Thought she might have been out this weekend but not looking like it now but i'm not bothered, i'd rather her be right before she comes home, might struggle getting her back in again if there were any problems. They still haven't got to the bottom of it yet and tests are ongoing but seem to think some medication she has been on for over 20 year is the problem, the hematologist (sp) picked up on it, this is a long term side effect of Lansoprazole, if you take this, especially long term i'd advise asking your GP if there is an alternative, it's all to do with some PPI thats in it. But she's doing well and getting there slowly we think, I have passed all your wishes and comments onto her, told her about all the calls, and she was really made up by the 2 visits from Ladybird _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

Have you Not left the laptop with Adele so we can all chat.
So glad to hear they may have found the culprit.
As you say best to let her stay in (even though Adele probably doesn't think so) as you may have have problems getting her back in if the need be.
But on the GOOD note give my love and wishes to Acele and so glad things are being sorted out
Adele is probably climbing the walls ha ha

| Been up twice today and she is getting a bit fed up of being in there now, not a lot happening at weekends, they don't do many tests, blood samples or anything, waiting to see what the Dr has to say tomorrow.
I've started walking round with her now when I go, go a bit further each time, trying to build her strength up a bit as she is very weak and not able to walk far, even if its just outside of the ward like we did today, a change of scenery if now't else, we sat on the corridor by the windows for about 15 mins.
