3 nights at the Elvaston steam rally, arrive on the 4th July, leave on the 7th July. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] More details about the booking process and prices once they have been released. Prices for 2013 were - £32 for a couple/family or £20 for a single person. This covered camping from Friday at 2pm to Monday at noon and passes into the steam rally for 2 adults and their children or a single person. price was £40 for anyone arriving "on spec" during the weekend. prices may change for 2014
I will book space in the clubs name, but you will need to pay individually and let them know you are a member of Motor-Homers and want to park with us, booking doesn't open until after easter

Booking should be opening soon for this steam rally.
This year's attractions include: Steam Traction Engines Vintage and Classic Cars & Motorcycles Vintage Commercials Tractors Stationary Barn Engines Fair Organs Miniature Steam Engines Model Show Vintage Caravans Craft Displays and Stalls Market Stalls Autojumble Children's Entertainment Old-Time Fairground Working demonstrations of Log Sawing and Threshing And a full programme of arena displays!
2014 rally will be held on the 5th and 6th July on the showground at Elvaston Castle.
We're expecting to have around 30 full size steam engine attending, along with Miniature Steam, Vintage Tractors, Cars and Commercial Vehicles. Arena events start at 10:30am. All Day & Evening catering facilities.
A Great day out with something for all the family.

I have a price for this meet but the booking form isn't available yet, should be ready next week. Camping from Friday at 2pm to noon on Monday is £32 for a couple/family or £20 for a single person, this includes entry into the show on both days, Arrival and departure times are flexible within those fixed times/days to suit the individual but there is no discount for early departure. They need to know which field we want to stay in, one that allows generators or one that doesn't.
Booking procedure will be slightly different for this meet, members will need to write MOTOR-HOMERS at the top of the form and amend the price on the form which you will then send off with a cheque and self addressed envelope. This envelope with camping permits and weekend tickets is collected at the rally. They do offer email confirmation of bookings.

What you need to do now is download the form I have attached to this post. Write MOTOR-HOMERS at the top so they know who you are booking with and you will get the Motor-Homers discount Ignore the price on the form, the price we pay is £32 for a couple/family or £20 if a single adult Send the form off with a cheque and a C5 (23x16cm) (9x6inch) self addressed envelope (No stamp needed) you will collect this when you get there. Bookings must be made before Friday 20th June

Sorry I can't promise to attend this meet. I was planning it as a treat for Colin's birthday as he enjoys steam . However we have been requested to standby to do any vehicle recoveries at TDF following an incident on Friday. To think I was trying to get away from it.
