Got our new van and love it..especially the gas heating system even in the shower area... ..as cosy as anything.... Love the island bed layout......need to take it in on her maiden voyage now ...great experience with the small dealership in Stoke on Trent would defiantly recommend Malcomn the owner. Malcoms Motorhomes Stoke on Trent.
This is a very small dealership unlike the larger outlets. No frills and laces showroom. Only asked for a small ££££ retainer in his office until exchange of our van for a brand new van was at completion ...the larger dealers wanted at least £3,000 on order.
He took us on trust at many points of sale. He sorted the tax disc and registration of new number plate two weeks before the deal was completed and sent all ownership documents to us before completion of the sale. His handover and explanation of the computer onboard workings were excellent. A lovely man ( from the old school just as it should be) a very pleasant sale.
Can't say the same for an earlier experience this week with Kenmore caravans Mirfield, not meeting deadlines for a small repair our our previous van, rude reception staff, all talk no action. After ruffling their feathers they did complete the job but we have waited three months for the repair even though they had the parts in. Totally unacceptable in this day and age. The very rude manager blamed his staff for false promises ( even though it was HIM that made the promises. The guy that did the repair was great and will be dropping off a crate of beer it was t his fault. We will stay away Kenmore and no more buying from their shop either. ....
