X250 pollen filter change in pictures

Pollen filter comes with instructions, pay attention to the direction of airflow markings! 
You will need a T25 torx bit and a 5.5mm socket
A Denso pollen filter at Eurocarparts is under £8 normally but over £11 when they have a discount code in force (cheeky sods) aint that illegal?

My left hand drive seems to need a little more dismantling involving 6 more T25 screws as the filter access cover is not fully accessible. I've not gone into detail here.

The cover is very tight so needs a good pull towards you and slightly downward (both tabs at once)

When I change any filters I always write the date on, not only handy for yourself but for anyone else who might work on the vehicle in the future, ie if you sell it or it has to go into a garage for work
