| Buffy is poorly and in hospital, a relay overheated and welded itself to the distribution unit (or what ever its called ) so a new one is required, they have source one but it will days a few days to arrive and Ian (service manager) is booked solid for days so will got her back for while so no trips for the foreseeable | |

| Suggard if I know Ken, but under the drivers seat is a fuseboard and 5 relays one of which must have got very hot and fused itself to the board and needs replacing, but the whole board is a mess with melted wires and blown fuses. | |

| I know you like Buffy, and have had good times away, but is it time to start casting your glances in a new direction ? Incidentally, I discovered my dad was in the RAF, and I think the chap stood next to him, was one of three brothers, and he is in the uniform of a petty officer in the fleet air arm, the badge on his arm would signify his specialty training, all discovered thanks to your suggestion, so cheers Bob. | |

| Glad to have helped in my small way Debbie and so pleased you have some info as well, as for Buffy you are right as Barb was very unsure on our last outing at Shell Island, she (we) loved the place but Barb was very nervous and unsure of herself when getting out/in the M/H and the stress showed on her face.
She is trying very hard to talk me around to a caravan but I want a smaller M/H but when shove comes to push I will have to think of her needs and not my desires, so watch this space, also running two large Merc vehicles is getting very expensive with the fuel costs, then the servicing, mot's and the deprecation so we are talking and thinking of the best solution for both of us.

| Sorry to hear about Buffy Bob.
Don't think I could go back to caravanning when I think of arriving on site and having to start setting it up and repeatedly fetching water.

| Hia
if you get a caravan Bob and Barb you wont be able to stay on the aires when you go over the waters
and think of all the hitching up and setting up and checks before you set off
but whatever you decide ENJOY

They never said Ken, mentioned if I had overloaded the system but I assured them I had not, think by now I know what I can run and cannot and what power load I am using. Look at post being put on shortly

| Just a bit of harmless leg pulling Mike.
First caravan I tugged was a 12 foot Monza - then caravans grew in size and my last caravan was a twenty something twin axle Conqueror. Only changed to a motorhome because I took my parents on holiday and it was easier than a caravan for my Mother, who was disabled.
I have a twin axle Adria now which my daughter tows and uses.
