Who's going on the water slide?

That is for Rina, she is an excellent swimmer and cannot wait to get on that huge slide. 

Wot  with her  recently diagnosed back problem,    still I think it would have been a   before that

I have to bring Barbs leccy scooter for Rina and Barb they can take time sharing it between them and it will save us carrying the vino ourselves

She said that a great idea , she will have to get one like Barbs , she has allready got a walking stick like Barbs

Well that is the leccy bikes cleaned and serviced ready for Brittany trip, and look Rina not a hill in sight, these views are from Ar Kleguer and there are miles of flat riding around there, and a lovely restaurant overlooking the bay.

Did you manage to  change ferry booking Bob , 
Didnt  participate in   when son came today as he brought granddaughter and great grand sons , so  thought as it is a lovely night I would have a few  while I carry on my route planning

Yes Baza, got it sorted but Brittany ferries not happy I have change my trip 11 times in total, but so what I am the paying so stuff it, we sail at 22hrs and arrive at 08.00 hrs with a full 16 min drive to the site, treated Barb to a club class cabin, we can get get onboard at 20.00hrs so can have a couple of night caps as we will have already eaten earlier, so as long as the weather is good we will have a good nights sleep before the long drive next morning

Yes Polly you can, we originally where going to Spain for the winter with the motorhome when we booked last September but then we sold Buffy and bought Buckie so we changed the details,
then we decided we were not going as early as original so changed again, 
then we decide to go to Santander instead of Bilbao so changed again,
then we decide we were not going at all so changed again,
then we booked for Le Havre,
but then decided to change it again for Ouistreham, 
then we decided to change our dates so changed it again,
then friends were joining  us so we changed the dates again,
then we decided to change from Ouistreham to Roscoff, so changed again,
then we decided to upgrade to a outside club class cabin so changed again,
Now on booking 11, but what I will say is how good Brittany Ferries have been and being a member of the Brittany ferry members club has its advantages, big discounts on prices and a free cabin on the inward crossing, also cheaper meals on board than the normal prices, and if any of our family or friends use Brittany ferries we (Frank and I) can offer you a discount with our code. (strictly limited to family and close friends)

Baza, Southern Comfort €24 x 1lt and good prices on vin rouge/blanc 

Like the look of the SC at €24 a ltr  might just have a few of those ,    vino looks cheap as well , 
but Rina's Vodka is cheaper at Tesco at the moment

Getting close now Bob , are you  all ready for it 

certainly am Baza, tried the bikes in the car boot yesterday and they fit fine just got to put the final few bits and pieces in, take the van into dealers Thursday for new locks all round as they made a b*lls up ordering 2 new ones and got it all wrong so now having 9 new ones with new keys, and a new jockey wheel as the blew the last one up getting it out of the garage (don't ask as I don't know   ) and a new LED light for the anti lock system which has failed.

Hope they don't cock up the locks this time 

Just been reading latest CC mag  Bob and there is a feature on Brittany  around the town of Morlaix , looks worth a visit

I am looking at all kind of interesting places as well, one near Morlaix is the Ile Callot access at low tide by a causeway on our bikes, but there are many places of interest for a visit which we can sort out when we meet up at Ar Kleguer site.

That wine site is not easy to navigate.

Sure did Baza, they got the correct locks this time, what they then did baffled me and also inflamed me, as I had a faulty LED warning light on the A frame that told me the van was correctly situated on the towball and that the BWP anti snaking device was working properly.

We were looking around the used vans in the yard and actually in one like ours but 12 months older, when we came out a fitter was removing the LED unit on the A frame, I pointed this out to Barb and told her "that is going on our van".

Sure enough when we went to collect and sign up we were happy with the work they had done I asked if we had a new LED unit "yes" you have I am told, then why have you just taken one of another van and put it on mine, got you you shower of lying bar stewards, sorry we didn't have one so we will fit this one until a new one arrives.

If we had not seen that with our own eyes we would never have known they were trying to con us.

They also did not replace the the jockey wheel ( pressurized tyre type not solid plastic) as they ordered the wrong one they told us, it was for a Alko jockey wheel and I have a BWP jockey wheel so now awaiting a new one of them.

You cannot trust anyone of the dealers to do the work honestly and to treat you properly, you have paid your cash and thats all they want, after that you are a non entity.

Not happy with this dealer at the moment, and I will contacting their head office and informing the directors about the kind of shenanigans they are getting up to.

We had our self levelling unit fitted today and we are very impressed with it, 2 minutes auto leveling and the van it straight as a die and firm as a rock, well pleased, yes expensive but well worth it for me, and I can even use the rams to lift the wheels of the floor if require to change it or have it repaired.

Lets hope you get these annoying teething problems sorted out soon Bob then things will hopefully get back to normal and you can both enjoy it.

Perhaps I am an optimist Bob  , was rather hoping you would say yep all sorted , what a bunch of con men  

Blimey we hope the weather improves for your holiday, it's absolutely awful in Northern France at the moment.

No worriers Mel all sorted for a full month after Easter weekend, I have a guy that fixes the   for me when ever we go away. (please GOD make the   shine) I say it every night while on my knees.

Yep we are busy watching the forecast from here and it has blown a little hooley today and blown all the low cloud away. from Saturday on it will be back to the expected standard, the birds seem to have the feeling of improvement as they are singing their little hearts out today
