I use cheap bio washing liquid most times.  

Had some 'loo blue' given when recovering mobile toilet wagons. Lasts ages as it is not as watered down as the stuff we buy from caravan shops etc.

I understand the chemical breaks down the solids and makes the waste smell sweeter.

I've always used bio washing liquid (much cheaper and readily available), but then I only use my toilet for liquid purposes!
