| Ribble Valley Police
MALE ARRESTED IN STOLEN MOTORHOME - RIBBLE VALLEY
A Motor-Home was stolen just before midnight last night (13/11/15) from outside the owners address in the Skipton area of North Yorkshire. The Motor-Home was seen by a Lancs police patrol on the A59 near Chatburn, Ribble Valley just after midnight. It was eventually stopped on the A671 above Whalley. One male from the Manchester area was arrested at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing into this matter. North Yorks police ref 12150202000 refers.

| Know what you mean My thoughts on this though is should they have stopped him? could they not have tracked him and found where he was going, maybe they would have found more stolen vehicles, maybe they would have caught his accomplice. yeah I know there's a chance they might have lost him but with a few plain cars involved it should be easy enough. I personally had fitted our Caravan Defender system and hid it so well i know they would of struggled to find it. We asked the police in this instance to back off and let us Track it to its end location, the police were not willing as the other two caravans in the convoy had no tracker. | |
