I have had a "slowly getting worse" problem with my Trumatic heater, so yesterday I did some maintenance. I've put an extra earth from cover to body of fire, to ensure good electrical connection for the Piezo igniter, then I took off the sight glass and checked for the spark. It sparks when it feels like, but the heater did come out of a 1999 van. So I have ordered a new Piezo igniter and a new sight glass, as parts are still readily available for my heater, and it is an amazingly good heater that requires no electric. It's definitely worth checking our heating systems rather than getting caught out when away from home. Wink
