Just found this in the cupboard . It's a few years old
But could I use a EE pay as you go SIM card if they do them.
For my travels in Scotland as EE seem to be good or OK up there and I am with EE. I might not need it as I have some on my phone
Yes I'm not very technicol Mobile broadband Grt Britain 372028940Mobile broadband Grt Britain 372028940

Can't see the point of having 2 devices on the same network but saying that it all depends on your phone contract.
What data allowance do you get?
Can you tether other devices to your phone?
Being USB it's only good for your laptop, you won't be able to connect your phone to it

Because you are already on EE i'd be looking at another network as a back up, go for a 3 sim, O2 sim or a Vodafone sim, don't bother with the USB dongle, take my Mi-Fi with you, it creates a wireless network so you can connect your phone, Ipad or computer to it

No point in getting another EE card then, you're covered there, if you do want a back up I'd go for another network, just get a couple of sim cards from different networks but don't activate them till you need them
