| Mmmmm well you know we like FOOD..Mmmm yes...and cooking..Well the sister-in law kept asking us have you tried Spanish Fried Milk ???...NO.. we had never heard of it..But always willing to try something new...(a lot of you, like us, foreign travellers, may have already tried and eaten this Spanish dish)..it is a..simple and a cheap dish (sweet pudding)....very nice.. strange but nice...give it a try Recipe 2pts of milk (=1 ltr or 34 oz) 80g (or 3 oz) cornstarch (cornflour) 150g (5oz) sugar sunflower oil to cook in (or as we did butter and olive oil) 1 cinnamon stick and lemon rind for taste (optional )these items are for to dip in before and after cooking 1 or 2 eggs plain Flour and a sugar cinnamon mix to dip in ( like you would a doughnut ) Here is a link but there are many recipes on Youtube [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |
