9b. Xmas Meet At Whittingham Club, Goosnargh, Nr Preston 9th to 14th Nov 2017

After a vote by members, this years Xmas meet will be held at
Whittingham & Goosnargh Sports & Social Club
Old Whittingham Hospital Grounds

On Sarturday 11th November they will be having a group night
This years group is the very popular Queenesque http://www.queenesque.com/
Tickets will be for sale at £5 each (TBC)

I have provisionally booked 12 spaces, more available but camping spaces will sell out fast once word gets out that this group is on, so best getting your name down quick.

We will have use of the function room during our rally but will not be able to use it on Saturday

Xmas meal? Do we go to the Grapes again? very nice last year, but The Stags Head is being done up, will find out opening dates, selling food etc.

David is trying to keep us together on the rally field (don't worry about the field bit, it's actually a rough car park not grass) as he is running low on spaces, is there anyone who can do without EHU as there are only 12 EHU points in that area, we won't see anyone struggling though, we can always get someone plugged in to top up batteries. I will do without and run fridge and heating off Gas - can you?
We could split it for battery charging but as it's only 6amp supply we wouldn't be able to run boilers or electric heaters

PS if you want to attend this meet then you'll need to act fast, I have another 4 spaces reserved but might have to let these go when they have sold the rest.
