| Yesterday I went for an afternoon drive to Glencaple, just south of Dumfries, to get out for a few hours, When I set off, it was overcast but dry. By the time I arrived, the rain was horizontal and when I parked, the van was sort of bouncing about a little. So I had my Carrot and Coriander soup, courtesy of Mr Heinz. I had planned to to take one or two pictures, but I think if I had opened the door, it would have been ripped off and gone kiteing with me still attached, so then I had a slow drive home via the back roads. Despite the awful conditions I still enjoyed being out in the van and looking forward to spending Christmas with my friend. | |
