Polly I meant the post deciding on venue the last I remember was Uttoxeter was a possibility we have not seen a vote for? Or have we missed it?

There was no vote this year, a suggestion was made for Shrewsbury showground at the meet, we looked into this and decided to book it as there wasnt many weekends free and they wouldnt hold them for long

Steve sorry you and Jan won't be able to make the Christmas Bash
But we had to do something

We were looking at somewhere more south for 2018, so Uttoxiter and Doncaster were in the offering.
Then it was dates and unless we wanted it early or later.
Which we decided was not going to work
Some members mentioned Shrews bury Showground

We thought it ticked all the boxes but dates were being sort after as we talked.
If we had gone to vote then we would have lost maybe all , as members are not quick to vote

Also we wanted to go more south due to our members lower down and in the middle of The map

As I said sorry about the dates

Polly it's the same for others and have no problem with its location but 3hrs drive for 2/3 days is a bit far but you never know

Yes Ken but not all of us can make it for that length of, time this year we should be able to make more meets, but not for Nov/Dec we think.
As we said no problems we just thought we missed the vote and we are not making an issue of it.
