| Got to agree with what is being said, the chat room sessions are difficult with everyone jumping in.
I think we should inform the members there is going to be a chatroom a few days ahead, they can then submit any questions (within the rules of the club) queries or ideas for improvements and then the Admin can list them and proceed with one item for a set session of say 10 minutes with only that question being talked about.
Then we move on to the next item and so on until all the items have been covered.
If an item is not resolved in the time frame we can continue on the open forum until it has been resolved.
Your thoughts please.

Just what I think I have said, it is confusing when everyone is answering ad hoc as nothing gets done.

| I think you're making hard work out of something that works very well. It is the uninhibited speach that can be very informative and then taken away by the commitee to be discussed. I think selecting questions before hand inhibits open speach and can put people off.
Just my views, no offence ment to anyone

| That's what I thought a chat room was ,for chatting , not a question and answer session, questions can be put on forum and answered or voted on | |

| I totally agree it will work this way as long as everyone keeps to the subjects that are being spoken otherwise the conversation goes haywire :-k | |

| I'm not that keen on them either, face to face is best for discussing anything I tend to answer someone with eg ken: and then the answer to their question, but the more people in there the faster they go and posts disappear fast Even using the forum, there could be a couple of posts before you post yours so it could still get confusing. Some had trouble typing in the text box as well, nothing would stop this from happening and I can't see a reason why that happened _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| I think it is a good, honest, open way to have a discussion. It also allows people to air there views in real time with no restriction. Agree people need to direct answers with question name ie;-' Ken ' but with practice this will get better. | |

| You're not offending me Mick. We missed your input last night. Probably very difficult for Ken to keep changing page layouts around and people will get used to where it is when they've used it a few times. Last night there were 15 members logged on to the site but only about 7 in the chatbox ... they need coaxing a bit more I think... | |

| Yeah, a lot complained about it being at the top as you had to scroll half way down the page to get to the topics, It's easy to put it to the top, we can always move it up there when we are going to use it _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
