Hi Kate. I canceled the tax on the van yesterday, I have paid four months whilst not moving van.
Saying that I'm going to give it a run around the storage pound were I keep it.
Going to give DVLA another call next week. Fingers crossed.

Best of luck with the DVLA, what a load of tossers, it should be a relatively simple straightforward job . . .  are they not bloody trained, not that you would need much training for a job that amounts to pushing buttons , you would think that they have to solve a huge mathematical/scientific problem to produce the result,

Rant over heehee, just pi*ses me off when simple tasks take so long,

Totally ridiculous to take that long to process your application John summer is on it’s way and you have places to go and people to see

Hi Sue& Eric, Ken, Four months there is a medical issue. I didn't use my own doctor, big mistake.
I used D4drivers £100 cheaper than my doctors. At the time my blood pressure was high. They asked me the previous readings which I didn't have.
DVLA wrote to my Doctor, Doctor wrote back which all takes time.
I had a stent fitted six years back wether it's anything to do with that, I don't know.
My concern is If I have to have a test, by the time they receive it back, the wait goes on.
Going to give them another call next week.
When I do get back on the road I will have a lot of catching up to do.

Certainly sounded like a controversial game John, but both sides were really wound up, frustrating I know but the Villa''s been playing well and can only get better hopefully

Been in touch with Janet at Bakewell. She thinks we will be in the field near the water and elsan.
So if your the first one there could just check it out when you arrive.
The office is at the side of the last cattles grid , end of the carpark.
Also mentioned about there overnight spots and she said they were just trying it and they have been inundated . Think they are surprised

I still have not had my licence returned.  So that's another meet that I'm not able to go to.

leisure battery not charging, no fride etc.
haven't used it as a camper for 4 years.

That is totally ridiculous John , is there no way of appealing ? Can you not get a 2nd doctors report, you are losing your whole summer in your lovely van, everyone misses you

Hi Polly, Mike has another chest infection and started antibiotics yesterday. I don’t think he will be fit enough for Thursday but we will let you know nearer the time. We were really looking forwards to this meet but it’s just not worth taking the risk if Mike is unwell.
