MOT due date extension

Just got the attached email from gov.uk about MOT extension.   What about the insurance companies weedling out of any claims made by anyone while driving and taking advantage of this extension?

Comfort sent an email out, it won't make any difference as long as it's maintained, which was always the case, according to the law it is MOT'd because they extended the date, not a case of your MOT has run out but you can use it until the test stations open back up.

But personally I'd just get it MOT'd as a lot of the garages and test stations are open and I'll be doing just that in the next couple if week
