Just posting this again now that we are on page 2 , just incase it gets missed.


On the 6th June it's the 80th anniversay of Dday . Was thinking of an afternoon f/ chip tea which we could either get your orders and f/chip shop to deliver or Bill can go with his cooler bag again we could get the union flags and table cloths out again , would there be any interest in doing this ??? Obviously weather permitting . Praying for flaming June sunshine

Hi everyone. Ok here's an update from Bridget at Bakewell . There is an event on the field the day before we arrive and there will be a large marquee that will need to be taken down on the Sunday morning ,so can I ask please that no one arrives before 12 midday on Sunday.

Also can I ask everyone to post on here what day you will be arriving and leaving on and roughly at what times please . .

Simon I now how Marge must be feeling I've fractured mine nearly four weeks ago and I'm stilll in still in pain. Still not sure if i can make this meet as my arm is useless.
Jackie and I will be at TOLEDOS funeral on the 4th so its only a week away and I can't see it getting much better by then.
We will still have a ride out there for a Day ton see every one.

John sorry to hear your still in pain, hope you get relief soon . 

Bakewell is for 10 nights John see how you feel the second week . Be nice to see you if you can  come for a day.
