| I have just spent the morning putting some extra 12v sockets in the m/h and while there having a coffee the guy parked behind me asked what I was doing, so over a chat he mentioned Spain and I told him we where going in April along with some friends. When I told him my route he told me I was daft and going miles out of my way, now I have been driving to Spain for 35yrs and know nearly every route possible in a m/h and a 44ton HGV so when I told him that there was only about 50 miles difference between the 4 major routes he said something about rowing, well it sounded like rollicks I was very pleasant and gave him a motor-homers card and he said he would have a look and possibly join, well my friend if you have joined, here is the mileage for the 4 main routes for you, happy rowing All from Southport, Lyon, Valencia, Benidorm----------------------- 1493 miles Clermont Ferrand, Valencia Benidorm------------- 1454 miles Limoges, Valencia, Benidorm-----------------------1474 miles Bordeaux, Hendaye,Teruel, Benidorm--------------1456 miles Biggest difference is 39 miles and of course you can make up all kinds of different routes that will vary greatly in mileage, my point too him was there is not a lot of difference in mileage but there is in time depending on which route you take. | |

He said his preferred route was as the picture but that is 1450 miles and would be at least 150 miles shorter than my preferred route, well he is wrong as my route is only 6 miles longer, so Clive if you do join us now you know [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| I love driving through Paris (around) Paris as I enjoy the hassle with the French drivers and of course the great views of the city. | |
