| I got an email from Tesco yesterday saying that it is giving a special exchange rate for 24hrs only, I just checked , for £500.88 you get 600euro , just tried Caxton and for £500 you get 610.10 euro , trying to work out what is special about the Tesco offer? | |

| I was offered €1.205 for £1000 this morning but my ruddy debit card wouldn't work thanks to a cockup at Lidl.
I know Caxton are usually the best rate but my faith in bankers is sadly soured.

| I have been watching Caxton and a couple of days ago it was Euro 1.2019 but now it is down to Eur 1.1920 so its going down again.
Lets hope it goes up again soon.

I had a similar offer from Travelex still not as good as Caxton. I should have bought some the other day as we are off to Malta next week but as Cheryl says the rate has started to drop now.

| Don't think you will see that figure for a good while, did get that rate and a wee more last year at this time of year (€1,25.5) but not this year so far. | |
