Meal at the Havin was great, the service unfortunately was a big let down, deffo room for improvments.

| My Daughter said the Fireworks were great. They made the mistake of Going to Formby for the day and then turning up at Southport in the evening. Traffic was a nightmare she said.
Maybe next time.
Just getting my voice back.

| Home now after getting car washed and what a mess them fireworks caused, not only damaged the paintwork but the windscreen as well, feel like suing someone. Dreading getting on the roof of the M/H that must be in a real bad state.
Had a great weekend with real good company and did enjoy the firework show itself and will very surprised if the very last show was not the winner overall.
Sorry to have missed a few of you this morning but some of us had a late night and had a bit of a lay in this morning, but thank you all for your support and to Frank for the Havin meal I really did enjoy the meal. Did have a good buffet at the Real China in Ocean Plaza last night

| Home now....safe and sound although the same cannot be said for the roof of the MH!! Wurly is still out there cleaning it but thinks it has actually stained the roof. Doesn't seem to be shifting at all. Any tips?!
Thanks to all who organised it and for the great Craic and good company.

| Thanks to all concerned for organising a great weekend. Special thanks to Pauline and Ann for keeping Lesley entertained Fireworks were spectacular, as was the noise. Went through some rain on way to Miller Field and the firework deposits have disappeared off the roof of the van ! Happy days... | |

Posting - No, we have no control over how photos are uploaded. Slideshow - That option is already there, open a photo from the gallery, above the photo you will see a drop down box that says "original picture" click on that and then select slideshow, set the delay you want, then press start slideshow. _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| Arrived home late afternoon today and washed the motorhome and it appears all the firework debris has come off. Before I went to Southport I had washed the motorhome with Fenwicks cleaner and hadn't rinsed it off as it started to rain - wonder if that helped to protect paintwork. Had a good weekend - the fireworks were amazing. I was surprised how large Southport shopping centre was. Even went back on Monday and got carried away with finding things I can't buy locally. Returned to the van carrying three large bags full to find the rest of the Homers had left. I had to try and eat the cream cake myself but there was plenty left for Colin when I arrived home. Stayed at Southport Monday night as all that shopping had made me too tired to drive home. Well thats my story | |

Thanks ken didn't realize that you had to click on the "original picture" to get the slideshow option. As for posting photos I have found photobucket is the best way for me to upload them, might work for others...give it a try!.

| For those that may be interested the winner of the Fireworks show was SIROTECHNICS and it was the second show on the Sunday night that took the honours, think all those that stayed until Sunday night had already decided that it would be the winner. | |
