i have been reading some of the blogs about greece{mhf}and its a really good read.i would love to do that trip,but some of the blogs are talking about tiny roads in smaliish vans:shock:,but the actual wildcamping sounds amazing,maybe one day we will do it:roll:

Our new member Peter & Faith are planning to go to Greece, can't remember if they said this year or next.
They are a great couple to talk too, hope the come back on, both well travelled on land and sea.

Greece has always been on my radar for a winter break, (Peloponnese) wouldn't like it in mid summer as temperature way to high for Barb n Me, early spring/autumn sounds good.

It would be a 5000mile round trip and careful planning of routes and ferries would be required, I am sure Brian (Lisa n Brian) have some very useful information, I did Greece many times when working but we are talking 20/30yrs ago and used routes then that one would not use these days.

Would love to have a motor-homers trip there, so over to you Frank start the planning for 2014.

i am not thinking next year bob,as we hope to have a long trip in april.i am hoping to coax margarita into going to portugal again,but only after we have been to benidorm ,and coming right around the coast back into france,where we will be heading for aquitane then onwards and upwards to get the chunnel,i am hoping to be coming back in the end of july.and then heading back out in november for the winter.

i am fed up with the weather we have had for the last few years,and the motorhome is just sitting there waiting to go on a journey.so my fingers are crossed,and hoping the the plan comes to fruition.
