I agree but the problem he is outlining is not just restricted to the African sub continent, he's talking about the whole world, I know he referenced the famines but that was just as an example, we as human beings are multiplying far faster than the world can accommodate in terms of food and raw material production.
While I agree with what he is saying, it is so easy to say, but its doing something about that's the real question, would the people actually follow anyone who remotely suggested that we all needed to be restricted to how many children we have regardless of how much money we have, as money at the moment doesn't seem able to change what he is predicting.
Its a rather philosophical debate as I really cant see any government anywhere even considering any form of national birth control, can you
