Navigate to the file you want - select open
Then press the Host It button
Copy the text on the bottom of the 3 lines
Then press this button

Paste the text you just copied and press OK

Looks like you didn't paste the text in the box that appears when you click the button in the 2nd picture I posted

I think you are copy and pasting the last of the boxes which is url box I use the middle box as copy and paste

I always use the bottom box

Hi no problem it was only a joke photo showing the white cliffs of Dover with the words POWF

Success at last I renamed it, it was originally named "pee Off Were Full.jpg" I just renamed it "Dover.jpg" and it worked

Ken having trouble pasting photos & links on the site, using android galaxy tab.

Trouble in what way?

I can get as far as copying the photo in the host an image box but when I want to paste it into the image box it can't find the photo.

Download the photo to your pc or tab, phone etc
When you use the host an image button, browse for the file, the upload it, 3 boxes should appear with text in, do you get that far?

If i get time tomorrow when i get home, i will do a proper step by step guide of how to do this

Tried all of that, just will not go into the final box.

Try copying the bottom or the middle one and paste it straight into the box where you usually type to add a reply

Ken, Knows far more about this than I ever will, but after following his advice the only thing I had to change was the name of my file and it worked, has your file just got a single name "photo.jpg" not "The photo.jpg"

Just tried 2 other photos still the same, think I may have trouble with copy/ paste on this samsung galaxy tab??

I have a Samsung Galaxy tab and it works fine, are you pressing and holding in the text area, the past button should then appear.
To copy something, press and hold on text, move little blue markers over the text you want to copy, then press the copy button at top right of screen

Yes I agree it does start as that but this is the problem I am having it pastes like the end result...I will keep trying.
It works ok with windows copy & paste ok.

How are you pasting? long press and the past button appears? I see (ctrl+p) in there, not sure that works with Android, its a Windoze thing

I press and hold down until paste or clipboard appears, then select paste it changes then.

OK, I'll get my tab and go through it on there and see what happens

Slightly different on the tab

Heres what I had to do

You get choose file instead of the browse button
Select gallery
choose photo
Host it
Copy button doesn't work
Long press on the text in the bottom box, make sure blue markers cover all text
Press copy at top of screen
Now press the image button
The drop down box will appear
click in the area you write your text
The keyboard will open
press and hold in the area you write your text
Paste button appears
Press that then OK

Hang fire for now think the problem is with my tab for the help.

Type this in the box but don't put a space in between the h and t

I'll have a Google about and see what I can find, might be some known issues with copying with the Galaxy tabs, at least we worked out whats happening
