looking like a very nice day out there, what are you all doing today?

Have a good w/e away Pete and Mark and anyone else that are going away.
Had a bit of a lay in this morning , must be all this housework tiring me out
Just got to slip to local Co Op and get a few bits then ready for the off

You also have a good un Baza.

Sat in van nr Skeggy watching the rain ,waiting for Rina and Indea. its like most sites it would be a lot better in the shine

M/h on hold as when they fitted the Air Dryer Filter a piece snapped of the compressor, rusty pipework, so a new compressor required at £247 + vat +fitting this job is now turning into an expensive nightmare.

To make matters worse the m/h is stuck on the ramp in the garage with the brakes fully locked on as all the air tanks have been emptied changing the filter and they will not now refill.

That's a blow Bob , Like Mick was saying in his post ,they see a M/H coming and double the price ,
You haven't trod on a leprechaun recently have you

Did they say how long it would take to get one

Were sat in as its raining, fit for nothing though now as all that work this morning has worn us out...good luck with the brakes Bob hope that's all it is now .

Surely they can get air in the system Bob, I've done it many times, some even have a valve fitted for blowing it up, others you have to fabricate one and put a tap on it, failing that wind the brakes off and have someone ready with the chocks when you want to stop

I suggested winding the brakes of and I would drive it back too Tarleton but the said no as they where responsible now having started the job, don't think they have done jobs with air brakes before but its not rocket science is it.

If they are air over hydraulic then you would have brakes but would need to press damn hard on the pedal, if they are full air and they wound them off you would have no brakes at all

Hydraulic front air rear so I could have drove it (carefully )

More snow

Rained again all night in Swanage but sun is out now going for a walk then find a nice pub when it rains again.

rain 6 till 8am little breake. snow 8.45 till 9.15 .then ......9.16 till 11.45 am both. now sun shine can some one tell me wot is going on

We are back from our last trip before our mini rally to Spain , had a good weekend , another grandchild happy.

leave some warm clothes in bazza your trip down will be cold mate and you may get some cold days and night in spain its still early pam spoke to her mate in malaga yesterday not cold but not warm heating on in flat and rain

After a frosty start it is a beautiful sunny day, just been into town for a few bits , got my lights from Lidl , so will go and play in motorhome after a bit of lunch
Whats the state of play with Buffy Bob?

Got her back this morning and all done and running great, one downside was the £576 invoice Oh the joys of owning a m/h (not).

One thing that peed me of was that the new compressor came with a new Air Dryer Filter @ £97+vat and I have already had one fitted so didn't need it, so rang Mercedes to get it sent back and they refused as it was a complete unit.

Asked the garage to refund me and they keep the Filter, "what would I do with that" yours is the first one we have ever fitted in 40yrs of trading, we don't want it, so I am lumbered with it.

It will come in handy in a few years time when I need to change it again
