Mick, you're a miserable old sod, I have talked to all my trucks when working (come on babe lets be good together today) and even now I talk to my m/h (lets go see some great places and I will look after you if you look me) didn't go as far as wishing it happy birthday, but often talked to it, and guess what it talked back to me by not letting me down.

And as for henry, Mark has a good reason to be very proud of him for a 20yr m/h it is outstanding.

Almost ready for the off! Undersealing done, satellite dish greased,TV installed bikes seviced,need to make slight mod for mountain bikes to sit on the back.Bought new cover for bikes.
Made a start on re-trim...this will take us a good few weeks to finish.Tax & MOT £££'s the things we do for our passion

Re-Trim started today!, all carpets lifted, all bench seats removed for new material to be mesured and ordered 3 x taylor made covers for the captain chairs.

Were doing the 3 captain chairs like this first, we still haven't decided on the benches yet bob.

Captain chairs now covered, need to get material for the armrests, bench seats & curtains etc, need new net curtains and vinyl for the floor, finally over carpets???.

Material for curtains & nets arrived today, also had a couple of quotes for 3 x over carpets with binded edges to match the chairs .

Happy days looks like a plan is comming together

taking old over carpets to have new one cut & bound not going to bother to re vinyl the floor as don't need to, Julie will be finishing off curtains, should take about a week for this.

Did you manage to find someone who would bind your carpets for a decent price Mark?

I don't know if its a cheap price pete but they are going to send out a fitter to do the rear lounge area also to match.

Very thorough looking job Mark , your getting there , keep at it and don't knock off to early for

Mark can you just pop up here - have loads of wallpaper that needs stripping - much easier than what you are doing and I see you make a good job!!

spoke to carpet supplier about gluing the sides etc he said no more nails & double sided carpet tape

Get some good double sided tape and you wont need the no nails, ask them if they sell double sided PMR tape, really good tape

Will do ken is that the 50mm stuff although he did say as it's hessian backed carpet no nails would be ideal & I have a couple of spare tubes in the shed
