| Sorry you are dead right
Out 26/2/2013. Takes 49 hours Back 24/5/2013 takes 60 hours
Not sure why there is a difference in traveling time
Just thought it would be interesting |

These prices from ferry Uk are total rubbish, Franks link is miles cheaper at £650 return from Huelva, but just cannot get a costing for December 2013

| Just out of interest a very rough estimate of the travelling cost
Calais to Cadiz is approximately 1400 miles
1400 x 2 = 2800 miles
2800 miles at say 25 mpg = 112 gallons
112 gallons in litres 112 x 4.54 = 509 litres
509 at say £1.15p = £585
Dover - Calais return ferry say £75
2 over night stops each way on route Calais to Cadiz at say £25/night = £100
Total Diesel = £585 Dover-Calais ferry £75 Overnight Stops £100 Return Ferry Cadiz - Tenerife £1466
Total = £2226

| Hi, It may be cheaper from Huelva, but even Directferries are coming up with nearly the same price for the Cadiz to Tenerife ferry, so aferry are not that far off the mark and it was only to give an idea of cost if anyone wanted to go soon.

| 2 nights stopover in 1400 miles, bl**dly hell Brian what you driving, 700miles a day not a chance even at an average of 50mph (and that's hard) its 14hrs driving per day, that is longer driving hours than I used to do when driving too Turkey in a truck on trip money, where I was paid for the fastest time I could do it in.
I do not do more that 250 miles day max and fully expect 4/5 days getting down to Spain in April.

| 2 nights each way, that's 3 days, we have come back from Portugal in 3 long days, Adjust how ever many nights you want, you may not want to stop on campsites , its only for an estimate, I certainly wouldn't be hanging around site seeing if I was on my way to Tenerife As for that Armas ferry company running out of Huelva, I just entered some dates similar to the above into there web site and it came out nearer €2000, not sure if I did it correctly, one of you may want to give it a try. They are running a ferry out 16/2/2013 13.00 back 25/4/2013 12.00 see what price you get. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

| Hi, My rates included a 2 berth cabin, which I think you would need. Cadiz - Tenerife 49 or 60 hours Huevla - Tenerife 32 or 34 hours Even though the Huevla is shorter its still a long while, I would definitely want a cabin - whistlinggypsy wrote:

| Hi, Bob
If you change the Pullman Seats to Double Cabin on both departure and return
and go further down the page where you have to enter the Camper van length I put in 7.5 and the price changes to
€1197.58 - no vehicle length entered
€1377.58 when 7.5 metres entered as vehicle length
€1958.78 above plus double cabin for out and back

| You need to enter the vehicle length at the bottom, its below the Acomodations section
Vehicles In this section please tells us how long your vehicle is (in metres) and who is the main driver. You can also add or delete vehicles if you wish. Please confirm the details to recalculate your price.

| Hi, Bob
If you put in 7 metres with the double cabins it comes out at €1898.78, so those prices from Aferry are not that far off the mark,
We will really have to find out how to get the £650 return |

| Correctos Brian, starting to look like I need a spanish resident to book this if we went, found the £650 return price and it was for a resident spanish family in a car We have a sister in law that lives in Lanzarote maybe she could book it for us, needs more searching yet.
