morning guys and dolls any advice on breakdown cover for europe who to go with info would be great cheers.

Hi Hugh, depends on who you are insured with, like with Safeguard breakdown is in the whole cost and up to last year I had been with them for 17yrs.

This year I have the motorhomefacts ins. but my breakdown is with the RAC covering Barbs car for both of us and the motorhome for me and my son, full european recovery and green card for mainland Europe including Morocco (no breakdown in Morocco) unlimited car hire and hotel accommodation plus repatriation but it's £217

We just have RAC European cover for £97 with Comfort Insurance. Haven't waded through the booklet explaining what the cover entails yet.

I'm still with safeguard and my 24ft 4250kg van is still covered in Europe. I asked especially and they only become concerned when it is more than a 2 berth due to potential transport and accommodation costs

I use RAC as they guarantee to recover any length and get discount through C&CC -worked last year!!!!!
