I am here again to ask about home solar panels

I have had the survey and I can have the free solar panels

done my homework and all seems above board

I will save about £100 per year £2500 over 25 years

as it it 25 years they lease your roof????

but what will the solar panels be like in 5-----10---15----20----25 years

do solar panels have a life span


what happens if the company go out of business


oh decisions once I have got them I have got them

My roof is new so don't see that I will have any problems there but if repair is needed they will remove the said panels twice in 25 years free of charge

would any of you out there have panels fitted on the house

(I would not have any thoughts about them on the motorhome when I can measure up I will have them)

yes but not for a saveing of 100 pounds YEAR i would be worried if i wonted to sell my home would the next person see this as agood deal

As I said on the other post we have them and it is a 25 years lease and they are guaranteed for that but no idea what happens if the company goes out of business presumably you carry on getting free electric and the user tariffs go to waste.

Our neighbour has worked out his save him £150 per year.

Its a difficult decision but as they are free we decided to go ahead. If we sold I cant imagine someone would turn down the chance of a saving on their electric.

I have finally made a decision not to have the solar panels on my house roof
so i have cancelled all 3 appointments and now await the phone calls ---maybe I am jumping the gun there

reason for cancelling

if I really really wanted them then I wouldn't be having doubts

Personally I would not be saving an amount that would make a much difference to my household bill

They would be on for 25years no get out clause

and they would have to take off some of my roof tiles and I have just paid to have them put on

no if I felt like I do about having the panels on my motorhome then I would go ahead but I don't
