| Just upgraded our complete package of home phone, broadband & TV with these new fangled youview box, includes sky1 sky2 sifi channel + 4 more sky channels with all the freeview channels as well.
They're doing an offer at 14.99 p.m for 3 months then 30 quid after that! | |

| They knocked on our door on Tuesday evening saying they have unbundled the exchange and can offer us faster broadband than we currently have. All was going well until they asked Mick how much he currently pays! Now Michael is a friendly chap but when you start asking him those types of questions, he gets quite uppity and asked them how much they were charging and he will tell them if its cheaper for us. They gave up and left, so we are still with BT  | |

| Change recently form BT after 30 yrs with them currently it was £97 a quarter now with Sky (6mths broadband free) then £53 a quarter  | |

They gave up and left, so we are still with BT agree we never accept the door step challenge , because as you say the sales tactics, but we are already with talk talk for the phone & broadband anyway we were paying 23 a month so we thought for the extra 7 pound it was worth 7 sky channels. | |

| Hi Mark, I checked my account and I was wrong about the line rental, like you said it is extra and worked out at £14.95 but I paid £119 lump sum and saved £60. I was already a Sky customer on the entertainment package and told them I was leaving because the government had ruined me financially with there cut backs  and I could not afford my BT package and there's, so they offered me this deal and after checking my account with BT and Sky I was better of by £27 a quarter with Sky so I dropped BT and now all is on Sky.

|  For the info Bob, I thought it sounded good, and it is, Similar price as Im paying.Definatley glad I have upgraded seems well worth the extra £7 & they have also given me a film & tv box set package for free pre-loaded on the youview box  | |

Been with Talk Talk for hundreds and hundreds of years
A very nice man from Sky called ysestereday and got my broadband,phone line and unlimited call any time any day up to 59min. For £23.25 for 12 months.
Talk talk was £29 for the same so I. Hanged.
Received an e mail this morning from talk Talk saying I have to pay a cancellation fee so on the phone I went and yes £140 so my saving through out the year with Sky would not redeem this amount so I said I would stay with Talk Talk.
The lady asked why I was leaving seeing I have been with TT for years so I told her What I would be paying eg £23.25 p/m she came back and said why hadn't I told them and see what deals they could give me. I said I thought I w on this plan for 12months, noooooo
She said I could have it for £22 a month
So the moral of my story is to ask
I will now be saving £7 p/m | |
