Personally I think Nokia has had its day, there are better phones out there than what they have to offer but they could come up with something new and get back in the mix.
Will Microsoft have what it takes - I don't think so, have you ever had a windows phone? I have and was always looking for a window to throw it through

Had some good Nokia phones, but it's just my opinion, they are falling way behind now.
Having said that, I'm very anti-windows but recently got a lappy with Windoze 8 on it and i do like it, but I'll not be going out in a hurry to buy a Nokia with Windoze on it  

Could be that phones, as we know them, will be old hat by the end of the year now that MS are getting involved ! 

Could well be, smart watches are getting more popular now, not for me though, can't do with watches on my wrist

The windoze phone i had was a fairly decent phone, Samsung Omnia, just the software let it down, I eventually installed Linux on it and still have it somewhere, kept it for backing up sim cards but all done on Gmail now

My Great Grandfathers, complete with 3 medals, 1 for Accrington Stanley, 1 for Accrington White star and the other unknown
