| Hi All Not trying to make you jealous but I thought some of you might be interested in our trip as we go along, I won't bore you with too much just a few notes & photos. We went to Singapore for 5 days to visit family and celebrate Bazza's 70th birthday. His daughter bought him a Segway experience which was brilliant the only problem was when we started Bazza & I clashed wheels which resulted in me falling off hence a very sore bum and bruised hand/wrist. Anyway I still managed to carry on there was no way I was going to miss it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]more tomorrow. | |

| Yes Ken we went to Sentosa first on Sat morning for breakfast on the beach, great experience that. We watched the grandchildren play in the sand while we eat scrambled eggs, smoked salmon & creamed avocado on a giant croissant what a way to start the day.
Then the Segway trip we did was along Sentosa's beach front. | |

| Don't think you'll get Adele on Sentosa beach again, we sat there chilling out one min, next minute she was off shouting "I ain't sharing a beach with that %7^$£!! thing" I looked round and there was a monitor lizard walking down the beach, must have been 6 foot nose to tail, I legged it too, into the rocks after a photo of it I loved the temples over there, some really nice ones _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| We spent the first few days in Sydney and on the way to our hotel the shuttle bus driver told us we had booked it in the red light district of Kings Cross no wonder it was cheaper. He made it sound awful so we were quite concerned but in fact during the day there was no problem and by evening we were so knackered walking around all day we were happy to stay in our room watching TV most of which was British and better than we get in the UK. One of our days was spent amongst other things on the Hop on Hop off bus which gave us a great insight into Sydney. Another day we walked through the Botanical Gardens to the Opera House a brilliant structure then we did a harbour cruise. A cruise ship docked at Circular quay. | Next stop Doyle's on watsons bay for a seafood platter If you get that ship to move in the last photo I might be able to show you where my sister lives We got advised not to go to Kings cross because it was rough, took no notice and went and had a great night out, just had to be careful what places you went in as some dont like you coming out spent most of the night in an Irish bar. Is the globe shaped water feature still there? looks good at night all lit up _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| We stayed in a lovely wooden house in the blue mountains, beautiful place and right in with the wildlife, don't them Cicada's make a lot of a noise, I wondered what the hell they were when I first heard them. We had front seats on that train, was nearly stood up and I couldn't hold on as I had a video camera in hand, asked how long it takes to get down as the tape was nearly done and wondered if I needed to put a new one in or not, guard told me "about 3 minutes if the cable holds, if it snaps, then it will take about 3 seconds" _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| We went back twice to get on the front but the queues were awful but we still enjoyed the ride near the back. Bloody cicadas drive me mad but we have moved on now so all we have is birds & ducks squawking. | |
