Went there a few years back -couldn't believe the size of some of the models -had to look twice to see if it was the real thing!
The jets were so fast - had to admire the controllers for their skills

Model Airshows

Post by Steve & Val on Thu 3 Apr 2014 - 23:33

Weston park is always a good show and local for us.   Also Cosford.
Unfortunately we are usually away during May and June.
Loads of shows around the country throughout the summer.
One to perhaps bear in mind are the BMFA Nationals at Barkston Heath.
Always August Bank Holiday weekend.
Friday > Monday usually £30 per van.
All types of controlled model aircraft plus free flight after competition hours and indoor inside the main hanger.
Lots of Caravans, Motorhomes and Camping reasonably well organised.
Generators no problem (plenty of them ) as you have to be a petrol head to stand the aero engines etc all day :-)
