Yes, the route has not changed as far as Oloron-St-Marie, but frankly I am not going on the 1st route due the time of year we would be going and the advice I have had and I do not want anyone to be under pressure on difficult road conditions. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]So from O-St-M I have done another route taking us through the Somport tunnel (instead of over the Col) which is an easy route with excellent roads down through Spain. The route after O-St-M is littered with safe off road parking for overnighting but I have put in some campsites if anyone feels they would rather stay on them, but it is about 55 miles to the Spanish Border from O-st-M so there is no problem and you will really see some stunning scenery on this route, as good as any place we have been before.

| Rob, when was the last time you where there, we did have a couple of problems last time but that was when they were refurbishing the bridge over the river right next to us.
The job is now finished and yes I know the tippers do start early but we will be on our way quite early anyway after breakfast, thats if we decide to stop there.
It will be down to the majority were we stop each night as I have done all the stops I have put in right down to Spain.

Sandra Sorry it will be too early for you Sandra this year, but I may do another one in 2014 but to a different country maybe one or two of the eastern european ones and we can make it a bit later as we are going to Spain or Morocco for the winter in 2014.

Had to make a quick diversion once or twice myself and got some flack from her It's not that bad really driving through Rouen, done it hundreds and hundreds of times with HGV and the m/h it was just this last time with the Euramobil still new too me and me not concentrating properly I very nearly took the roof off, it certainly gave the french drivers behind me a lesson in 3 point turns and caused a massive hold up entering and leaving the underpass Your view at night across the river [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
