Thats a right bummer Mick , hope it wasnt running too long before he was able to stop it . We came home from a trip away 3 years ago as now and as there was no one in the house it had been coming thru the kit ceiling that long there was 1"deep of water all thru the house, nightmare | |

| Looking at the way fuel is going up n up it is getting the cost of going away in the m/h, seen diesel yesterday at £1.52 lt and it is forecast too rise before Easter. Just about got enough in the tank to get me to Folkestone then fuel up over the water where it will be at least a wee bit cheaper. If it reaches the predicted £2lt I most certainly would think of setting it on fire, I would have too as no one would buy it with fuel at that price | |

| Hi, Motor Homing is a hobby, its certainly not a cheaper or easier way to holiday, you can go to the same places and stay in reasonably priced hotels for a lot cheaper.
You can even fly and hire a car for less, you either enjoy the motor-home or you don't its just like any other hobby Golf, model trains, model helicopters all of which I've tried and you will know its not cheap and its not that much fun its more about the doing rather than the end result.
If you really think about any hobby longer than a few seconds you just wouldn't spend the money.
As for Spain, I said in an earlier post Spain is not for everyone, its certainly wouldn't be on our list of places to go, other than its probably the nearest place that's warm'ish in the winter.
You seemed to enjoy your trip to France, what has turned you off now ?
