Just out of interest who carries water & how much?. Do you travel empty, or do you travel with a full tank? We will probably fill ours up with 100l to hopefully travel most of the way downto spain (using it frugally). What do you do???

Travel full most of the time, one less job to do on arrival

Always carry water - going somewhere usually full - coming home - enough for any emergencies Doesn't seem to make any difference to fuel consumption

Short distances full tanks, long distances emergency rations, I have 200lt fresh water tank so I would be carrying an extra 200kg if they where full and that has to effect the fuel consumption (and mine is not the best )
