| Well a week into the German trip and the weather has been very very hot, today the 1st below high 30s and a welcome rain shower. Stayed at Gravelines 1 night then 2 days at Ruthen marina, made the mistake of going into Duisburg without a Umwelt Plakette so high tailed it out pronto, just hope I don't get a €40 fine. At Lemgo now and still no wifi, it's not working, so using the phone. Off too Potsdam and then Berlin on Monday, not heard a word yet on the Dusseldorf 4, very strange.

| Well we have just spent the last 8hrs looking around Berlin and apart from them rebuilding most of it we had a great time. Dodged the rain and saw lots of places but wow it's a busy city and the biggest train station we have ever been in, navigating around was a challenge but we never got lost once. Will post the pics when we get some decent wifi, had a big row on here about them charging for it and its crap. Tour of Potsdam tomorrow then decide if we will go further North n East or head down into Western Germany. | |

| Yes....Thurstaton CC. Only went there for the first time last month as can never normally get on there. Its always chocca. Anyway, got home on the Sunday to an invitation to a 'family do' just down the road so tried to book it on line and it was full so rang up and the lady and explained we had just been there that weekend etc and she was lovely (unusual for CC... we always think they are retired Dr's receptionists normally!!) and told me she would look after me. She must have known I was a good sort!! | |

Well my stroll was a 2 hour mud walk
But the walk was ok
Izzy had her shower when we got home and later actually stood there while I dried some of her with the hair dryer On a low setting before you get the RSPCA onto me
And she stood there and let me dry her the best I could. She must have been cold | |

Now let me see where I will be this weekend Ummmmmmm I know I am going somewhere Ummmmmmmm
Belfast
We fly and arrive about 1 so we will get to the hop on and off open top bus. station and have our tour of Belfast Then go and check in hotel Time for some tea then over to the Odyssey Arena
After the fun and games we will have to take ourselves to a local pub before we retire for the night
Sunday morning will see us back on the tour bus and hopefully visiting places we would like to see again before we fly home
Then Sunday night pick up izzy And then my weekend will be over
But an enjoyable one | |
