hi guys just had an invite for a 6 months trip to china next year I do like Chinese food but come on geezers and geezerets has any one done a trip like this ?

No, i haven't but nearly got a trip there in the trucking days when some mates started doing it fortunately/unfortunately depending on your point of view I damaged my spine in an accident and could not get the medical insurance cover required.

I do know a guy in Germany that did it in a brand new Hymer, we stayed on his campsite for a few days many years ago and he lent me the video recording of the trip, there is no way I could afford to have the m/h treated like that as he came home with a near total wreck, but what an experience he and his wife had, the death road was like motorway compared with some some of his route.

Go for it Hughie and you can tell us all about it when you get back

Well then get your name down for the Tabely show, all the fun of a trip to China going off last years site conditions and if you ask Frank nicely he could make you a great chinese meal, that's what he is so good at (cooking I mean, not navigation )
